Only the Beginning of the Adventure

Yesterday we travelled to one of the most amazing places to take photos. It was only about 15 minutes away from where we live. Everything worked out perfectly... the weather was amazingly sunny (especially for being in the middle of winter), we went out somewhat early (taken at about 1PM), and we got BK mochas in the morning!



One of our closest friends who lives in San Francisco came to visit us this winter break (and of course, she dresses awesomely), so we decided to bring her along for one of our 'shoots.

It was super cold outside today... However, our journey to the rock garden was quite adventurous. Excuse the dried mud on the shoes :

Carmen Dell'Orefice is a fierce lady. Holy shit.

From Wikipedia: Carmen Dell'Orefice (born June 3, 1931) is an American model. She has been called the first supermodel. She is unusual in that she has had a continuous career in a field in which few people work past the age of 30. As of 2008, she has been modeling for 60 years. At the current age of 78, she's still the face of Target, Cho Cheng and Rolex, being featured regularly in their advertising campaign appearing in Vogue, W and Harpers Bazaar.

If I am even half that gorgeous and fierce at that age, I would be happy.
